TAMPA — Police say they do not know why a motorist drove his car off the Courtney Campbell Parkway on Sunday morning and resisted efforts to pull him out of the water.
"He deliberately drove his car off the boat ramp. Why he did it, I don't know," said Lt. Donny Peters.
A boater saw the car enter the water and called police, Peters said....
