Nasty bit o' water if I recall from my crewing days, I believe a conditional anchorage possible on Stroma's east side and the harbor pier on the south is typical of the area. Interestingly, the harbour wasn't built until 1956 when only 16 people remained on the island.
The harbour is owned by the Highland Council, however, the island is private property though it sounds like permission to visit would be no problem:
There's a lighthouse on the northern tip of the island, automated since the 90's and incidentally, strafed by Germans in Feb. 1941.
