Should women join the military?

What do you think about women joining the army? Is it a good thing to have women on the battlefield of a war side-by-side with men or should women have other duties? Or should women not have anything to do with the military whatsoever? Discuss.

I have no problem with them serving, but they should be kept in their own units and be far from combat. Keep them in their home nation, no duty in an operational theater.

And that is the way it used to be. No women allowed in combat roles or on combatant ships. Sadly, that has all changed.

I'm fine with women being in the armed forces, but they shouldn't be in combat roles. It's a fact that men are physically stronger and built for combat than women.

I'm one of those poor dumb asses who use to have to try to train these useless creatures to do what they can't do; and then accept what they can't do as good enough,then watch them dance off to get their asses shot, or worse yet- get a half dozen good men killed pulling their scrawny pussies out of the line of fire.Women are for fucking,making babies(raising families and kids),cooking ,cleaning and occasional blow jobs,not combat.Sure the slopes in Nam had lots of slope bitches,who we cut down like they were sugar cane and their dead rotting corpus filled the rivers and slowed us down for an hour or two-big fucking deal.I've trained all kinds of big muscular Russian and German bitches,who were twice as tough as most males,but they were all cunts.Hard headed,devious and treacherous beyond what most men can even begin to conceive-aka=unstable.If I'm gutting some slimy motherfucker from asshole to appetite,I don't want some stupid bitch watching and telling me how fucking disgusting it all is.

It depends if a you fights wars to preserve your people, or you fight wars to wipe your people out.

Only fat mngers should be allowed to join the army (as is the case in the British army).....that way they can be killed off.

So, you support a combat exclusion for women, i.e. not in infantry, armour, artillery, cavalry, etc? Why shouldn't women work in ordnance, intelligence, communications, transport, or other support roles?

Because even in those roles they often lack the physical strength to do the job. I saw female "mechanics" who were unable to lift their tool boxes. This caused problems, since these females could not be scheduled shifts where they would be alone. The same with transport, ordnance, and communications. Some parts of those jobs require brute strength. Keep the females in the offices and hospitals.

I managed to do my job with no help from the men, and I earned their respect for that.I was not a "big" woman either.

Mrs. White: I wouldn't say women can't do heavy and physically demanding work, I know many women who can (I myself have been working at warehouses with very heavy lifts and forklift driving for years). But I don't think the female body is made for that type of work - so the question is for how long a woman can work like that before her body breaks in one way or another (I've seen this happen so many times). I would say I agree with Bob; heavy and physically demanding jobs are better suited for men.
