I've always been a shower person.
I wouldn't advise taking a bath in Rome, too much calcium in the water.
I had to buy special purifying shampoo/conditioner and skin lotion to get rid of the calcium on my body.
I only used the water to brush my teeth or boil water for eating.
If you don't add salt to the dishwasher calcium cakes the dishes, silverware, and glasses.
Anything you put in the washing machine basically turns dingy, whites are no longer white.

Even the Italian bottled natural water has calcium in it.
I only gave the pets bottled water and if not changed out soon enough, a calcium ring would appear.

Eventually, calcium builds up in the plumbing pipes and they burst. Not fun.

    Back on OP.
The drought will make it easier for the migrants to cross and there will competition for food.
IMO, could be in part why they sent the Italian Navy off of Libya's coast.
The drought will also cause a price increase in fresh produce.
I always enjoyed going to the farmers markets.
The price of wine and olive oil will increase.
    Italians will then riot. !

The way things seem to be going over there, they may well have sent the navy to bring your new paisanos fresh supplies and safe escort to an Italian port. Maybe punish somebody for violating their civil rights by overcrowding the boats.
