The good old days, when it was just playing cards.

Now a real bully would give Pokemon Go players a virus. ;)

Just got back from a park where I sometimes go to use the track and pull-up bars. As the sun started going down there were HUNDREDS of shitheads clustered in a small paved area of the park. Some of them were apparently there for several hours. If I understand correctly, it was a Pokemon "gym" where you go and do absolutely nothing in order to "train" your imaginary pets.

Why can't somebody pick one of these places for a mass shooting/bombing/truck rampage?

It's also worth noting that aside from 4 or 5 pieces of choice jailbait, all of these people were disgusting physical specimens. You really have to work at it in order to get fat in your teens and early 20's, but plenty of these shitheads managed to do it. There was FREE exercise equipment a literal stone's throw away, and these fucking worthless morons are sitting around staring at their phones in near silence until the cops finally come and throw them out when it gets dark. most of the group was white, which is unusual in a park that's become mostly gooks and spics, and there were also plenty of millenials and even baby boomers mixed in with the crowd.

The game relies on the video camera feature of your smartphone. This essentially means that they figured out a way to make millions of America's stupidest young people broadcast a near-constant stream of high definition video footage to match their personal data and exact gps location. They also found a way to make people travel to specific locations at specific times and congregate with total strangers. Sounds pretty fucking sinister to me.

I have had the discourse of watching someone play this silly trend. My current lady is involved in digital marketing , whom handles a major Canadian fitness gym. As soon as this silly game broke out, they asked how they can use it to entice more people to sign up. Apprently yoga pants just aren't cutting it anymore. It's rather silly. Yoga pants in advertizing are un-replacable, IMO.

In theory, the gym could pay the game company to have several desirable Pokemon or a unique game feature inside of the gym, which would naturally only be available to clients. The personal training desk just might have a rare Penisaurus hiding behind it.

Pokemon (aka pocket monsters) became popular around what 1998? So all types of generations are playing it at the moment, and the older generations are the one forking over real life money for virtual currency. I cannot be bothered to play a game that makes me leave my toilet seat but if they want to be car food good for them.

I was at a park yesterday and Pokemon Go players were everywhere.
But, a lot of them had dogs with them. I was told players are going to dog shelters and paying the shelters to walk their dogs, so they wouldn't look like geeks playing the game. lol.
