We had a long discussion on this at Skadi recently, only to see it derailed by a South African America hater who started deleting my posts. Anyhow... I'm interested in arguments for and against.

Do you really think it isn't? America's foreign policy is completely vile and has been for most of our short history. Nobody really complains about the fundamental principles upon which the USA was supposedly founded, those are fairly sound. The problem is with the result of American machinations on various states and peoples abroad. When America exercises its will internationally the result is rarely positive for anyone but America and its fellow partners in crime. This is because the USA is a gangster state controlled by Jewish people and treacherous white niggers who care more about money than human life. It is that simple.

    Yes.

Reasons: The US government is evil. American culture is a disease. Too many fat people. Baseball, football, and basketball all seriously suck.

No, the proper posture is your stance - blame America, and admire heroes like Hugo Chavez.

Anyhow, I'll take up where my Boer friend started deleting:

Yes, the airplane. If you think football sucks, you should really hate transatlantic travel...

I'll perhaps take up everyone's favorite fringe 'political theorist', Baron Evola, a bit later. My preliminary observation is given that Evola pretty much despised everything that came after the Pax Romana (only mild hyperbole!), I'm unsure how seriously he should be taken.

Are you trying to imply that is ridiculous that I dislike the American government and American political culture in general because of what the Wright brothers did at Kitty Hawk?

How about you try and defend American foreign policy? Oh that's right, it is fucking indefensible!

If you don't somehow benefit from the empire than it's impossible to look at it in a positive light. The US does no good for anyone other than the Jews and the richest of the rich.

I'm suggesting that based on technology alone, anti-Americanism is risible. In fact, I'm not suggesting it, I'm SHOUTING it.

Given proper context it's easily defended. Of the great powers in today's world, the US has the best foreign policy. By 'great powers' I mean China, Russia, the US and the EU.

You simply can't justify massacring goat herding peasants half a world away. That is not good foreign policy.

So the entire world should worship America because they have a lead and a handicap when it comes to developing and distributing advanced technology? What does that have to do with policy?

    :fap4:

The "best" foreign policy? It's certainly ruthless if that is what you're getting at. Of course I meant that it was morally indefensible and has been for generations. Like Britain and much of the EU's foreign policy, America's is largely directed by individuals from a single sectarian grouping of human beings popularly known as "Jews." They see to it that inhumanity in the name of profit and total dominance is the rule. Nobody is disputing that.

Americanism is about more than mere policy. Even policy is an outgrowth of ideology, and if you've read your Heidegger, you'll know that ideology and technology intertwine. America is essentially analogous to the white race in global terms. We are 'the man' who everyone blames while ignoring our indispensable gifts to the world. Without America, much of the world would by dying of heat exhaustion. Yes, that's right. We also invented air conditioning, among many other things. In fact, you and I are having this discussion because of America!

Foreign policy is a byproduct of power politics and political realism. Anyone who expects 'morality' in international relations expects, to quote Jefferson in another context, 'what never was and never will be'.

    WOW.

It is going to be hard to debate with someone so out of touch with reality.

Maybe you prefer Russia's foreign policy where they sell China missiles designed to sink American aircraft carriers? Or maybe you prefer the EU's policy of coddling various thugs like Fidel Castro and the FARC? Or better yet: China, which sells nuclear technology to wonderful people like the Iranians, Pakistanis, and Algerians.

America, for all of its faults, is still aligned largely with Europe and the West, and it pursues the West's interests to a greater extent than the EU, which is generally in the business of appeasing Third World thugs and trying to sell China arms (we had to threaten to sanction them to stop that France initiated stunt).

We have every right to retaliate against terrorists and those who harbor them. If we're hated for that, it says far more about the haters than us.

The greatest percentage of America-haters seem to be foreigners living here. Our country certainly deserves criticism, but not from a bunch of immigrants who get a free ride here because their homeland is a starving shit hole.

Americans don't just have a right to criticize the government; it's their duty. This is completely different than some brown parasite pissing and moaning because they want even more handouts.
