Jamie Cohen, 36, met Joseph DiTomaso, 42, back in 2011 when they both worked at the asset management firm The Macquarie Group. A romance blossomed and the Columbia Business School grads started dating and even co-founded a travel agency, All the Rooms, in 2013, according to DiTomaso lawsuit filed in Manhattan Monday. When Cohen moved into DiTomaso’s Manhattan condo with him and his dog Blu, the boyfriend even splurged on $12,000 worth of new furniture, his civil suit says. And by November 2013, DiTomaso had purchased the pricey engagement ring and dropped to one knee. But five months before their planned November 2015 wedding Cohen left him — and she took his dog with her. “Thereafter, Blu was never seen by Mr. DiTomaso again,” according to court papers. Then in November 2016, while DiTomaso was out of town, Cohen returned and “emptied his apartment of the vast majority of his furniture, furnishings and possessions” including a basement storage container, the suit says. She’s refused to return the ring, the dog and other belongings, according to court papers. So DiTomaso is suing for $65,300 — plus “the immediate return of his dog.” Cohen, who now works for the financial advisory firm Flightpath Capital, did not return messages seeking comment. DiTomaso, who still runs All the Rooms, declined to comment through his doorman.
