I recently found out I do, on my father's side.

approximately one third irish.
1/16. One great-great-grandmother, herself third-generation. I have significant Ulster ancestry but they were Scots, so I won't besmirch their memory by lumping them in with the leperkhans.
No, no Irish ancestry, unless it's reeeaaaaaally far back. I haven't even met an Irish person, as far as I know.
Not to my knowledge. My father's family moved for a couple generations to Ireland from (likely) northwest England. I do not know for a fact they intermarried with the natives. British of the clerical class living in Dublin ('The Pale') likely did not.
I know of no Irish ancestry, though I am 1/8th Scottish of Clan Drummond (or their descendants in the Hill Country of SC -- sometimes called the Up-Country).
As far as I know, I'm of assorted Germanics to the 3/4s mark (as if that were possible in a creature whose chromosomes number 2 times a prime number like 23....). Which I guess makes me a Germanic Quadroon.
Let the audience note that some of the biggest paddy bashers are simply self-haters. :D
I never liked those three toes anyway.
Bluto gots some bog-trotter in Bluto.
Yes. My family is almost entirely Irish by ancestry.
There's a page on Facebook called "Embarrassing Irish Nightlife Photos". It's not a pretty sight.
You haven't felt the real Irish lifestyle until you've spent a New Years in Belfast.
I just looked that page up. A lot of those pictures are of British people that I have seen in the Sun, Guardian, etc. It also includes quite a few muds, but perhaps say 40% of those pictures I haven't seen before and whether they are Irish or not could be true. I imagine it was just someone having a chuckle by throwing in the word Irish into the page's title to be honest.
Lots of BEAUTIFUL Irish men out there...
