I don't consider it for faggots, but i prefer none. Soap and shampoo and a very faint scent of toothpaste is plenty to juggle. I am really suspicious of men who douse themselves with cologne. 1)it can lead to headaches 2)makes me wonder what their hygiene is lacking 3)like music, scents are hard to find in a variety that pleases everybody.

i have bottles of dolce and gabbana, hugo boss, and polo(all bought for me). Sometimes i put a dabble on my beard(i believe the alcohol kills germs living in the beard and on the skin). It also helps prevent razor burn or ingrown hairs on the odd occassion i shave or do a rlly close buzz.

    polo smells the best ftr.

I throw it on for special occasions, usually some frenchie the old lady put in my stocking.

I only bought it once; I recommend you do too if you're ever in Cologne (as in Köln)--the Original Eau de Cologne (Echt Kölnisch Wasser) called 4711.

The original Eau de Cologne is a spirit-citrus perfume launched in Cologne in 1709 by Giovanni Maria Farina (1685–1766), an Italian perfume maker. He named his fragrance Eau de Cologne, in honour of his new hometown.

The most famous Original Eau de Cologne is 4711, named after its location at Glockengasse No. 4711. It was also developed in the 18th century by Wilhelm Mülhens in Cologne and is therefore one of the oldest still produced fragrances in the world.

According to legend, on 8 October 1792, a Carthusian monk, made a wedding gift for the merchant Wilhelm Mülhens (1762-1841): the secret recipe of a so-called "aqua mirabilis", a "miracle water" for internal and external use (drinking the cologne was thought to prevent bubonic plague).

During WWII the Kriegsmarine issued vast amounts of 4711 perfume to the submariners of the U-Boat fleet. As there were limited facilities and few opportunities for bathing, the scent was to be used in an attempt to improve the odour aboard the vessel. Crew members typically didn't use much of it and would take home bottles as presents for mothers, wives or girlfriends.

There is a certain amount of conjecture that 4711 was the Cologne des Führers, there's a funny bit in Thomas Pynchon's latest book about a photoshopped press photo of Hitler receiving a huge bottle of 4711 from Dönitz.

I've always had a small 40f/oz bottle of Boss Original, but yesterday I got adventurous and bought HB's The Scent. Now I smell of leather and ginger. Had a few compliments so far.

Dolce and Gabbana "for men" smells like a fruity mixed drink with a bouquet of flowers in it. Disgusting shit. The ex's mother used to buy me bottles of cologne for every holiday. Gucci Guilty Intense, Polo Black and especially Cool Water were all pleasant enough.

I'm taking a stand against all that metro shit for the same reason I won't cut my hair or go more than a few days without shaving; if most young American men are doing it now, that's a damn good reason for me to stay away from it.

I thought this was a thread about the city of Cologne where on New Year's Day 2016 more than 1000 German girls and women were raped by niggers, while German "men" were cheering. And now I see it is a completely different thread about "men" spraying themselves with fragrance meant to be used by women.

    Oh wait...

For men Gucci, Hugo Boss and Armani make the best fragrances. The best unisex fragrance I've come across however has been Calvin Klein's "CK One". It's amazing.

Just came across Gio Farina's ur-formula:

"The usual recipe prescribes twelve drops each of the essential oils bergamot, citron, neroli, orange and rosemary, with one dram of Malabar cardamoms and a gallon of rectified spirits, which are distilled together."
