    Like the apocryphal Keith Richards swapping out his junkie blood in a Swiss clinic, the vampire association is probably a big part of this start-up's success. That part of it would appeal to rich-pig oldsters who seem programmed to do anything to cheat death.

    Plasma is mostly water, but it does contain certain hormones and proteins that may have diminished in the aged. I like the idea if it works; I wouldn't pay those prices though.

    I was disappointed to read that Elizabeth Báthory didn't actually bathe in the blood of teenage girls, rather just tortured and murdered them according to some accounts, others say the whole story was just a Catholic/Hapsburg plot to obtain her vast wealth and land holdings.

    Ahh, to be young again...
